The International Journal of Legal Information (IJLI), IALL’s official publication, is now being published by Cambridge University Press. Beginning with the 2017 subscription year, the IJLI is available by subscription through CUP without requiring membership in the IALL.
A related change is that IALL is no longer offering Institutional memberships beginning with the 2017 membership year. This is directly related to the availability of the IJLI by subscription. (The IALL membership year is 1 January through 31 December.)
Cambridge University Press began sending out renewals for 2017 subscriptions to the IJLI in August to all current 2016 Institutional members, many of whom were IALL Institutional members in order to receive the IJLI.
- If your institution was only a member of IALL in order to receive the IJLI, you may now subscribe to the IJLI directly through CUP beginning with 2017.
- If, however, your IALL membership is based on an Institutional membership and you wish to continue to be an active member of the association after 31 December 2016, you will need to join IALL for 2017 as an Individual, Retired, or Student member.
